This week was our last week together as Mrs Rennie-Younger is going to teach at Sunnybrae Normal School next term so we had a lot to finish off this week.
Our main focus was to finish off the movie we started at the beginning of the term – a reflection of our inquiry in term 1. It was so rewarding to see the whole project come together by the end of the week. We viewed it on the last day and parents who came in early viewed it with us as we watched it for the second time. As we said goodbye to each other every student went away with their own copy of the video to cherish and share with their families and friends.
Having worked so hard for the first half of the year we decided to go and have some ‘fun’ with bubbles on our last day together. The pictures below say it all.

As I sign off for the last time on Northcote3 I would like to say thank you to all the people who have supported the teaching and learning programme in room3. Room 3 is a very special group of students who have worked so hard and achieved so much. They truly show that – ‘The desire to learn is a powerful thing.’
